Portfolio Expansion
With the goal of meaningfully expanding Ayacucho’s portfolio, we developed the Vaunu Trolley series. The focus was on detailed design to create a level of quality that withstands even the most demanding travel conditions.
The series includes two sizes, 40 liters and 90 liters, and combines durable materials, a thoughtfully organized interior, and a construction that ensures lightness and easy handling. At the same time, we prioritized responsible material choices, as the use of recycled components combines functionality with a commitment to sustainability. The result is a product that reliably endures every journey and gives Ayacucho the opportunity to offer its customers durable, robust trolleys for the first time.

Developing this trolley was a special challenge for us and at the same time proof of our ability to perfectly combine complex hardware and textile solutions. Every detail was conceived and implemented by us:
Custom-developed hardcover: For maximum stability and protection, tailored to the design requirements.
Specially designed aluminum tubes: Combining lightness, robustness, and precise fit.
Innovative wheel profile: For smooth, secure handling and designed for easy replacement when needed.
Perfectly aligned sliding rails: Millimeter-precise spacing for reliable functionality.
Material selection: Sustainable, recycled, and additionally water-repellent main fabric—for durability and protection.
Finest details: Kissing zippers that can be locked with a small padlock, dip-dye webbings, and custom-designed zipper pullers.
Practical front pocket with integrated garment straps and compression straps: For easy access to essentials, secure fixation of contents, and a compact shape.
From the initial concept to sample construction and multiple prototypes, we refined design and functionality at every stage until we created an order-ready product for Ayacucho.
